As reported at Inside Real Estate News, Brookfield Properties is launching their new mixed use planned development on Denver’s northwest side (actually in Adams County). This site is a large infill development site with close proximity to Downtown and major transportation, including a proposed light rail station.
the Midtown development on 184 acres at West 68th Avenue and Pecos Street in unincorporated Adams County, could have 1,300 to 1,400 single-family homes, apartment units and attached housing such as condos, along with some retail and commercial space. Homes initially will be priced from the $200,00s.
This should add a significant amount of affordable housing stock to the inner ring of the metro area, and is in keeping with the existing afforable inventory in surrounding neighborhoods.
