Growth in Denver Likely to fuel demand for housing

Denver’s population growth rate for 2010 – 2011 was 3.3% according to an article in the Denver Business Journal.

The study findings are isolated to the City limits only – no outlying suburbs are included.  The article reported Denver added 19,960 people during the time period analyzed.  This increase translates to 8,793 new households during that time – whether they all choose to live in Denver proper is a different story….

This growth is one of the main drivers for much of the new apartment development in Denver and the metro area.  It is also a reason we are seeing an imbalance of supply and demand for single family homes.
